9 months, first vacation, two plane rides...it's been a busy few weeks!

Hi Friends,

I've been quite busy the last few weeks as you can tell from my title. I don't have much time to blog because I started school today and I'm pooped! I have had such an eventful last month...mostly great but some sad.

I went to my GGM Mary's funeral in Missouri in April and it was my first plane ride. I went with my Mommy and Grammy J. The plane was so soothing and I fell asleep on both flights to MO but the flights home were a new game...I was up the whole time and wanted to talk to everyone! I did have a great time getting to know my cousins and aunts and uncles. I can't wait to go back and play some more!

This last week, I went to Vegas with my parents, Grammies, and Aunties for my parents' anniversary. They planned to leave me home when the first planned the trip but then they couldn't bear to leave me home for 5 whole days. I'm pretty much the best thing they've ever seen! We had such a fun time in Vegas. I sure wish my Aunties would move to SA...

In Vegas, I got in the pool for the very first time and I loved it. I especially loved when my Daddy took me into the wave pool and would crack up every time a wave would hit me!

I can't wait to tell y'all more about school! I go a Spanish immersion school so the teachers speak in Spanish and I intend to be bilingual soon! I like my classmates and didn't have any problems adjusting my first day--it was as if I'd been going there my whole life!

I've taken several steps now but don't do it consistently and still prefer my speed crawling! My 7th and 8th teeth are on their way in and I'm drooling like a toothless person! I still only say Dada and Hi but I now wave to everyone and want all of them to hold me, but only for a minute and then I want my Mommy back! I know there's more to tell you, but I'm sleepy and will write more next week and tell you all about school!

Another week, another dollar...errr...another week :)

Hi friends,

I have lots of pictures to share. I've been all over the place these days and loving it. I love being the center of attention and have everyone giving me love! I took one step this week but fell down and I really prefer to just walk along furniture then get down and crawl to my next destination rather than walking where I need to go. My Mommy is trying to make me walk, but I'm in no hurry since I am a speed crawler already!

I forgot to put up a picture from my girls lunch last week so here is one with me and Auntie Angie. I was too busy watching the Spurs game to smile for the camera!

I spent most of yesterday with Grammy Wandie while my Mommy and Daddy helped my Grandma Carol. We crawled around the house, went outside to look at flowers and just played so hard that I actually took a 1 1/2 hour nap and since I hate napping, this was a major deal! It probably helped that I was exhausted from letting out a bunch of poops on my Grammy! I tried beef and gravy while I was there and I did not like that at all maybe because it was from a jar and not my Mommy's cooking or maybe because it was meat and I don't really eat much meat yet. I am so lucky to be able to spend time with all of my Grammies!

Daddy and I ran into my Grandma Carol at Wal-Mart two weeks in a row! This picture was from the first week and Grandma brought me this bunny headband. I loved it and apparently so did all of the people at the store because I had many people stop and tell me how cute and sweet it was! And, as I already said, I love all of the attention so it was a good shopping trip!

I figured out how to get the toilet paper off the shelf and I might need to go on the "Strange Addictions" show on TLC because I was eating it! Worse than that, my Daddy was letting me! I love to sneak into the bathroom and weigh myself, try to get into the tub, and I guess now I'll be eating the TP too!

I love being naked--or just in my diaper. My Mommy doesn't let that happen very often but Daddy is a different story... He sneaks naked time in when Mommy's at work and as you can see, I'm quite happy about it!

We got a new baby gate for the top of the stairs as soon as I started crawling and I like to stand and shake the gate. My parents think it looks like I'm in a jail cell and will give me a cup to slide across the bars!

I also got a couple of new swimsuits for our trip to Vegas coming up! I can't wait to see my Aunties and go to the pool with my Grammies!
