13 months old!

Whewie, it's been a busy few weeks! I've been helping my parents pack every weekend so we can move to a bigger townhouse. Plus I've been spending time with my Grandmas and I get to see all of them again this weekend. I love going to their houses because they cook much better than my parents...

A bit about me lately (did some extra since I've been M.I.A. on the blog lately)
1. I can drink through a straw and hold a normal cup and drink without spilling much.
2. I found my vocal chords and now scream or grunt when I don't get what I want, when I want people to leave me alone, or when I just get excited. It drives my parents crazy...
3. I am almost at a full run. I love going on walks at night now that the weather has cooled down to only 90 or so and I can run in the grass. I scream when I have to hold my parents hands to cross the street...
4. I am eating like crazy!! I love lots of foods now and seem to have a never ending appetite. I am totally crabby when I get picked up from school because I'm starving and ready for dinner. I then proceed to eat as much as my parents pretty much!
5. I love to brush my teeth. I didn't like it at first because my parents put a nasty toothpaste on it but now I have a better toothpaste and I love brushing myself and then let my parents do touch ups.
6. I can now climb the stairs almost all by myself. My parents are right behind me but I crawl up pretty fast. I am working on learning how to get down but the stair is too tall for me to scooch my butt yet.
7. I have started sitting on the potty every night before my bath time. I went pee in there a couple of nights ago but we're not getting excited yet because I still have a lot to learn. I got my own potty because I've been squatting to poop and then when I'm done, I want my diaper changed immediately. So, now I get to practice sitting on the potty each day but am not really potty training yet.
8. I met the world-famous artist Peter Max a few weeks ago. He said hello to me and rubbed my face and arm. I haven't ever met anyone famous before and he is one of my parents' very favorite artists.
9. I can turn the light switches on and off and open and close doors, but only as long as the doors are already open some to start.
10. I know when I hear the garage door go up that one of my parents is home so I rush to wait at my baby gate to greet my Mommy or Daddy.

Here are a bunch of pictures I just got uploaded. Enjoy!

Auntie Angie met me and Mommy a couple days after my birthday to give me some birthday goodies. I got some super cute onesies and then a mini pillow pal. I love her...Angie and my pillow pal!

I love playing with the toys at the doctor's office. I am not worried about getting sick from the other kids touching the toys but my parents sure are!

My Aunt Jan and Uncle Mark got me this onesie from Key West while Mommy was still pregnant and didn't know if I was a boy or a girl yet. It is 12mo but when I put it on, it was too small. We couldn't resist getting a picture of my camel toe though!

My Mommy's birthday was in August too so we went to Grammy J and W's for dinner and cupcakes. I love sweets and cake. I also loved pizza and ate a whole piece by myself.

I tried one of Daddy's shirts on and I think it fit pretty good. Then I got a hold of his Tums to really make it look like I was Daddy Jr. :)

At my one-year photo shoot, I did not want to be let go and did not want to let go of Pooh or my other dollies. I eventually got some cute pictures but I was not thrilled. Luckily Pooh helped me out.

Like I said, we're moving so there are a lot of boxes everywhere and I found a perfect spot to sit and take a break!

I love my bike Auntie Stellie and Uncle Charlie got me and I am not afraid to climb on it and stand up. Unfortunately, this means I also fall off sometimes but I don't really fuss about it. I'm pretty tough.

I love my Daddy and I snuggle up with him on Saturday and Sunday mornings until I get bored--which happens in about 5 minutes!

If my diaper bag is left where I can reach it, I dash to get my puff snacks out and opened so I can eat them. However, even though I dump out my puffs, I still have to stick my whole arm in the container to get more puffs. I didn't even get in trouble for this dump-out of my snacks because apparently my parents thought it was just too cute!

My Grammies J and W got me this turtle learning book that sings and tells stories. I like to push the piano buttons with my feet!

Here I am practicing sitting on my potty. I like to read while I sit just like Daddy!

I love to ring the bells at Grandma Carol's house and also look and giggle at Sami when she's outside.

My Uncle Allen, Aunt Laura, and Cousin Seth got me this talking, singing picnic basket for my birthday. I love it and we've been going on a lot of picnics and eating a lot of plastic food!

I am into everything and if I want something, I will go get it. There was a phone in the shelving unit that was behind my bike so I wiggled between my bike and the shelves and then crawled into the shelf to get what I was looking for.
