I went to the doctor with Mommy and Daddy this week and I was such a good girl. I just talked and played while we waited and then I listened very closely while the doctor talked. I think I may want to be a doctor when I grow up, or a fashion stylist, or an artist, or who knows?!...

I'm fitting into my jumper a lot better now. I love bouncing up and down and spinning in circles, although in this video, it looks like I'm ready to fall asleep...

I've had a couple of laughs over the last month, but they were all super short and never repeated so they were mostly a surprise to me. On Christmas Eve though, I just started laughing hysterically at my sister, Sami. I started noticing her about a month ago and have recently started smiling at her, but on Christmas Eve, I just couldn't get enough of her! I laughed like crazy. Luckily, the camera was close by so Daddy started filming my first laughs immediately. I wish Sami liked me as much as I like her!

I had a wonderful Christmas. On Christmas Eve, I went to my Grandma Carol's with my Aunties, Uncle and cousins. I slept the entire time and Mommy and Daddy had to open my presents. I got some great stuff that I can't wait to play with though, like a Christmas book where my Grandma recorded her voice so when I go to each page, she reads to me! I also got an Elf on the Shelf, cute outfits, a timeout chair and more!

After breakfast on Christmas morning, I got to open my stocking. Mommy didn't plan on buying me anything at all this year because she thought I was too young, already had everything I needed, and I wouldn't remember anyway. But, lucky for me, my Daddy thought I should get a couple of things. And good thing too because I loved opening my gifts (pjs, a piggy bank and ice cube trays to start freezing the food I'm about to get to start eating!) and playing with Daddy's loofie and my stocking that I picked out. I have the best Daddy in the world!

After we opened stockings, we went to my Grammy J and W's house for breakfast and MORE presents--I could get used to all these gifts! I love the sound the wrapping paper makes as it's torn and crunched together! I got more great stuff from my Grammies, Aunt Megan and cousin Ellie and my Uncle Allen, Aunt Laura and cousin Seth. I got several books that I was entertained with all morning, an adorable pair of Skechers with toe bling, a bunch of outfits and a couple of really fun toys that I can't wait to play with.

Then we went to my Aunt and Uncle Durben's house for dinner and games. I didn't get to eat the dinner, but I did like watching everyone while I sat in my Bimbo right at the table. I'm especially interested in my cousin Cooper these days!

I had a busy, exhausting first Christmas weekend and I loved every minute of it. I can't wait to do it all again next year and open my presents without any help. Thank you everyone!!

Videos!

I haven't uploaded any videos in a while so here are a few from the last few weeks.

I helped Daddy blow out his candle on his birthday cake for his 37th birthday but I was more interested in trying to eat the cake than blowing out the candles!

I had my first meal of cereal on my 4-month birthday. I wasn't so sure about it at first, but then got the idea and loved it!

I started rolling over onto my belly like crazy in November. I usually only turn to my left and then get frustrated when I can't get back over to my back!

It's almost Christmas!!!

I am so excited for Christmas! Mommy and I went shopping for Daddy's stocking yesterday and I picked out a bunch of good things for him--I help Mommy choose the right colors! Grammy shopped with us too and I was on my best behavior :) Then I went to my Grammies' house for a little bit and got to sit in Santa's sleigh. My Grammy has a picture of my cousin Seth sitting in this same sleigh when he was my age so I had to take the same pictures but this was just a test fit and I'll have to wear a Christmas outfit for my real pictures!

I had a great week this week. Daddy fed me rice cereal all by himself for the first time and I made sure to make a huge mess and gave him a hard time! I also had my first meal of oatmeal this week. I loved it. I kept lunging toward the spoon like I better catch it before it gets away!

I got to spend time with my Auntie and Grammy last night, though I mostly just slept. I get to see them again today for Grammy's sip and dip party.

It's only six more days until Christmas and I can't wait to see my Uncle, Aunt and cousin Seth. I have been a very good girl this year...

4 months!

Hi friends!!

I've been a serious slacker in updating my blog, but it's the holidays so I've been busy hanging out with my family and shopping! So, here goes my update--hopefully not so long til the next one, but you've heard that before!

I turned four months old on the 3rd. I went to the doctor's office and got four shots, two in each thigh, and didn't even cry, except for the last shot when I cried for about four seconds! Daddy held onto me this time so Mommy could take pictures but she didn't even get the one she wanted where my lip was pushed out because it never happened. I'm pretty tough.

The doctor told my parents it's time to start feeding me cereal to get me used to eating foods. I guess I'll be eating finger foods already in just five more months, so I definitely need to practice. I ate rice cereal on my 4-month birthday and I loved it. I got it all over the place, but Sami definitely didn't mind and she tried to help me clean up!

I am rolling over like crazy so my Grammies bought me a Baby Einstein center to sit in and play b/c when I roll to my belly I get mad. I love my new toy. I can turn around in a circle to play with all of my different toys.

My other Grammy made me a Christmas tree that is pink and white! It is very pretty and I like to look at the lights and touch the ornaments.

I try holding my own bottle but I don't realize I'm doing it so I don't always manage to keep it in my mouth!

I'm also really trying to crawl but I just can't seem to get any traction and then I get mad again!

I got to wear a "Summer" outfit on Dec. 4. It was from my Grammy's neighbor and I loved it--very girly and very me!

I had my Christmas pictures taken. I wore the dress my Great Great Grandma Mary and Great Great Aunt Janet got me.

My Auntie Karlie came into town and I'm getting to spend a lot of time with her. I wish she would move here...

I love my baths but I do not want to let my feet touch the water when I first get in. I keep my legs lifted as long as possible! You understand...the water's never warm enough!

And some randoms...
