Rough weekend!

Oh man, it's been a bit of a rough weekend. I am into everything, all the time, so I am bumping into things and falling all of the time. Friday at school I got my hand smooshed in the door. Then, Saturday morning I hit my head, then I hit my chin and mouth so that my mouth was bleeding, and then at my Grandma's I fell backwards and hit my head on the tile. But, despite all of the bangs and bruises, I'm still doing pretty well and happy as ever! I'm just going to keep getting tougher and tougher! Everything got better though when I got to go swimming with Grandma and Sami--I love to swim!

A few things about me lately:

1. I love to rub different fabrics under my nose--my sleeve, my blanket, Mommy's shirt, or my toys.

2. I have started to kick my head back before I laugh. Then I look around and smile and laugh at my family.

3. I've been pretty clingy with my parents...mostly my Mommy. I don't want to be more than a couple of feet away from them at any time. It's really fun for me but makes it hard for my parents to get anything done, like clean, which is fine with me.

4. I really love my school. I pretty much run the place and one of my teachers told my parents I'm famous around there. She said I'm so beautiful and smart and sweet and everyone wants to love and hold me...I love it! 

5. I now walk and drink and eat. I look like a big kid walking and drinking my bottle, or a drunk depending on what time of day it is!

Here I am at the pool getting my feet wet. There was another girl there who was 6 months older than me who I couldn't get enough of. 

I love all of my stuffed animals, carrying them around all over and kissing them. I especially love the turtle I got in Vegas. It weighs a couple pounds and can stand on it's own, but that doesn't stop me from carrying it around the house and then laying on it or kissing on it!

Grandma found Auntie Karlie's old shopping cart and I had such a great time pushing and pulling it around. I did fall backwards and hit my head when I was pulling it though, but that didn't stop me from getting right back to my shopping!

I do not like to take naps on the weekends so the only way I will sleep is when I get so exhausted I fall asleep on the floor!

Yay summer!

Well, I haven't really been able to enjoy summer yet and want to get in the pool but I have been sick with a snotty nose and an ear infection so I'll just enjoy the warm sun and look forward to the pool soon. Anyhow, I'm getting lots of teeth! I have two bottom molars and a bottom tooth that popped through in the last two weeks which doesn't make me feel any better! But I did get to spend a whole day with my Grandma Carol and cousin Chloe because I couldn't go to school one day and I loved it! I want to be just like Chloe :) I also got to spend the evening with my Grandma Carol when my parents went to the Motley Crue concert. I got to play with my two Grammies today too and my Grammy taught my Mommy how to make me chicken and rice which I love!

5 things about me this week:
1. I will eat almost anything, including the label from my bottle which I choked on and then threw up for the first time which freaked my parents out. I'm also eating the edges of books which really irks my parents.
2. I got a real phone and remote and I won't put my remote down, I carry it all around the house.
3. I love to be kissed and hugged. I also wave to everyone everywhere we go!
4. I do not like to wear shoes. I would much rather chew on them than wear them but I need them to walk around.
5. I try to blow my nose. I finally don't freak out when my nose and face get wiped and now I even blow out of my mouth when I am getting my nose wiped and sometimes blow out of my nose. My parents think I'm a genius!

Grandma Carol gave me a bath. I looooove the bath!

I slept on Mommy Monday night when I was feeling cruddy with my ear infection. I wish I could sleep on her every night :)

I'm still fitting in my "bimbo" but not for much longer. I'll have to use a big girl high chair soon...

We went to the ATT store and had to wait around forever which was perfect picture-taking time!

Here I was at my doctor's appointment. I had my "daisy dukes" on and my shoes didn't match but they stay on the best! I walked the whole way into the doctor from the elevators. I'm getting so great and fast at walking!

10 months, expert walker and my 3rd double ear infection in less than a month!

It's been a busy week! I'm now 10 months, basically an expert walker and currently have my 3rd double ear infection in less than a month! I wanted to start doing something I saw on another blog that I adore so  I'll try to remember 5 things each week that are interesting about me...that might be hard!

1. I can't sit still for more than 5 seconds at a time. I am constantly on the move.
2. My favorite thing to do is clap. I clap constantly, for everything! I clap for myself, for my parents, if I hear clapping on TV. If I'm crying and my Mommy says "yay", I'll stop crying and start clapping!
3. I love getting into bed with my parents in the morning and going back and forth between them to get a hug. If Daddy's facing away from us, I'll kiss him on the back of his head.
4. I am getting tired of my oatmeal. I have refused it the last few nights. I want my food without being mixed in with my oatmeal.
5. I pull several of my parents books off of the bookshelf about ten times a day but then always grab two of my favorite books from my toy bins to carry around.
